About the sessions

Are you travelling to South America or Spain? This very practical one-day course provides you with the essentials to interact with locals in a variety of common scenarios. Learning in a fun-filled environment through role-play, by the end of the day you will feel more confident to get by in any Spanish-speaking country.

FRENCH BEGINNERS 2

Class for Adults (Evening) 

Date:             Tuesday afternoons, 20 August to 8 October (8 weeks)

Time:             5.30 – 7.00pm

Location:      Adeline st, Faulconbridge

Cost:             $299 (includes resources and textbook)

About the sessions

This course is the second of a multiple beginners series. It is designed for those who want to communicate confidently by developing a strong foundational understanding of the French language. Lessons are conversation based, student centred and fun. You will learn through songs, interactive activities, games and much more! By the end of the course, you will feel more confident and excited to communicate with your French-speaking copains or partner.

What you will learn
    • How to engage in conversation e.g. using formal and informal expressions, etc.
    • How to ask and respond to more advanced questions e.g. what’s the time, what’s the weather like, what will you do tomorrow?, what are your plans for the future?, what is your routine like?, and other
    • How to access helpful online tools to continue practising phrases and pronunciation outside of class
    • Other helpful cultural information

The group is really fun and friendly and I’ve enjoyed learning through songs. I’ve really loved learning Spanish. The teacher has done a fantastic job of presenting the content in an easy-paced and fun way.     • How to ask basic get-to-know- you questions eg. what’s your name, age, how many siblings do you have, using numbers and the alphabet, etc.
    • How to access helpful online tools to continue practising phrases and pronunciation outside of class
    • About Hispanic taboos and other helpful cultural information

 

HIGH SCHOOL SPANISH

This course is an 8 week course aimed at early high school students in Years 7, 8 and 9 who would like to start learning Spanish for the first time. Classes are conversation based, student centred and fun. Students will learn through songs, interactive activities, games and much more! A booklet is provided to complement their learning.
