About Sydney Language School
“If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head.
If you talk to him in his language, that goes to his heart.” Nelson Mandela
Our heart language is the language we grow up hearing and speaking, the language we dream in, the one in which we express and receive life-changing words whilst growing up. It is familiar and nothing will ever change the fact that when you hear this language, no matter where you go, it is like music to your ears.
When you travel to a foreign country, or meet someone whose heart language differs from yours, there is no better way to connect with them than to smile and speak a gentle word in their language. I promise you, a small effort can go a very long way in unlocking doors you never thought you could open: the locals’ hearts.
Sydney Language School exists to help make this dream a reality, so that you too can speak another’s heart language, and have so much fun in the process!
Agi, Director of Sydney Language School

Agi is a very intelligent and patient teacher. She has a natural talent for languages, and this is shown in how she stays true to the teaching of foreign languages. For example, she encourages students to use their French during class (instead of English) – the best way to learn any language. The class is a wonderful mixture of people from all backgrounds, and the material we retain and remember is very effective and Agi’s learning resources are always surprising and engaging! I cannot recommend her enough, and I look forward to my next term.Stef Lasek

I had a really interesting day at Sydney Language School’s one day intensive Spanish for Travellers in March. Our enthusiastic teacher Agi Fasano paced the day really well. We learned to get our mouths around the sounds of a different alphabet, had fun trying our conversational skills and tasted some delicious typical foods from South America. Agi had lots of advice about the culture and tradition as well as practical tips for travellers. Her well-prepared booklet will be great for revision and practice before my trip. It was a fun day and Agi’s friendly coaching encouraged us to enjoy our attempts in Spanish! Gail Wilkins, April 19, 2017.
